Way back in 2005 when I was a freshman in college, my two friends and I went to go see the Mary Tyler Moore statue on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis, where I had just moved to. My friend Sam told me he thought I was like her because I was from a small town and wanted to "make it after all!"
A lot of fun, a lot of lessons learned, some mistakes made, a case of mono, and bachelor's degree in English later, I moved to River Falls to pursue my teaching license in Secondary English Education. I'm excited to be back in Wisconsin and can't wait to share my life experiences with my future students.
